Roy on a Powerful Mindset: “Being conscious, aware, mindful. The stronger you make that, the more powerful your mindset is and the more you can achieve, do and enjoy.”
Debbie on a Powerful Mindset: “Being aware of where you are putting your attention, and asking yourself what it is that you are consciously trying to create. Where you put your attention is where your energy will flow.“
This week we chat with Dr. Roy and Debbie Steinbock from mindfulfamilymedicine.com. They’re a great example that you can in-fact go into business with family! There’s no hardline right or wrong way to run your business, keep an open mind and work with elements that fit best with your life and your business.
I love their mindful approach to life. If you’ve listened to episodes in the past, you may have noticed a common theme in that when you apply a mindful approach to life- when you really work to create your ideal life, both your ideal personal life as well as professional, the tools that you use to bring that about work in both arenas. The steps that you take for your personal life often align and apply to your professional life as well.
Philosophically, I’ve always been a huge proponent of holistic approaches life in general. Listening to this episode will give you a bit of insight into how they’ve applied mindfulness to their lives, and how it’s helped them to create abundance for themselves, as well as their clients.
I really enjoyed recording this episode. Roy and Debbie are a lot of fun and have so much value to share. I was able to resonate with their content on many levels!
If you’re able to mindfully go about your days, you’ll find that you begin to do the things that you love. When you do this, your life becomes filled with things that bring you joy, not because suddenly life is treating you better, but because you begin to treat yourself better. Your focus on things you love is what brings them around you. That is how you begin to build a fulfilling life.
