TPM 011 : Live the Life of Your Dreams with Roshawnna Novellus
Today I have a chat with Dr. Roshawnna Novellus, an author, entrepreneur, coach AND angel investor! She’s known as The Wealthy Yogi and now her mission is to teach others to live the life of their dreams. I found the contrast in just the name to be very interesting, because with a Yogi, you don’t typically think of someone who is also very financially abundant. Roshawnna is not only literate with finances, but incredibly successful. So much so that she was able to purchase her first home at the age of 22!
In this episode, we talk about:
- Her introduction to Yoga and Meditation and how they help us through the ups and downs in life
- Her introduction into becoming an entrepreneur, and applying mindfulness into that process
- How her life was changed in an unexpected way at a Yoga retreat in Thailand
- How she was empowered rather than conflicted in building the success of The Wealthy Yogi brand
She is all about helping others and spreading the message of mindfulness and using it to empower external growth.
The more people we have being mindful in their decisions, the better a place this world will be. We need to live a life of balance. Use internal growth, practices of mindfulness, meditation or whatever aligns with you- to empower your external growth. Whatever your goals are, financial, health and wellness, career, if you maintain a practice of mindfulness, being present with your thoughts and actions in the moment, the actions that you take will lead you to where you want to be.
