TPM 057 : Making True Innovations in Healthcare, with Victor Ladele
A Powerful Mindset: Having a strong sense of who you are, while also completely understanding that you don’t know everything.
This week features Victor Ladele, a mission doctor, TEDx speaker, and visionary; and was one of the first responders to the Ebola Crisis situation in Africa a few years back, with missions in Darfur, Liberia and other nations.
He’s a committed individual, and has helped improve systems and education in the areas he serves to empower them, so that they can support themselves long after doctors, non-profits and others have completed their service.
In today’s episode we talk about the biggest issues with healthcare both abroad, and what to do about them.
Why it’s more important to multiply yourself, than to only do acts of service. And it’s not that acts of service are bad, they are good and needed, but how to create a large and lasting impact, while doing them.
We talk about how mindset is a pivotal quality to develop with regards to improving healthcare; though the qualities learned are definitely applicable across the board.
